FOUR KEY AREAS OF MONTESSORI EDUCATION

 The practical life is the corner stone of Montessori education. The purpose and aim of Practical Life Activity is to help the child to develop fine motor skills, and to function independently. It also helps the child to adapt to his society. 

  The aims of all the sensorial activities help to get the power of discrimination, which leads to the refinement of senses. All the sensorial materials help children to discriminate between similarities and contrast. It builds the capacity of children to use the intellect.  

 Montessori believed children need to be given vocabulary before they start writing.   Lots of materials are made by the adults at GMA to help the child in reading and writing fluently. 

 Montessori says all human beings have mathematical mind. Math materials at GMA help children to calculate, to reason, to see relationship, to make abstract ideas and to extrapolate the nature.
